Many competitive game players set their mouse DPI to 1200 or even lower because lower DPI gives them precision.
When aiming, pro gamers tend to use low DPI because this gives them ultimate precision. The huge mouse mats allows Pro FPS players to use their whole forearm to move the mouse, so a DPI of 400 to 800 gives them accurate aim.
Without DPI buttons, you can go ahead to launch the mouse and keyboard control center, go to the basic settings and then sensitivity setting to make your adjustments accordingly.
